We are situated in the Derbyshire Dales between Matlock and Matlock Bath. Our house lies in a deep valley facing High Tor - the largest inland limestone cliff in Britain.

The activities which the Derbyshire Dales offers are many and varied. See the Attractions section of this site for a comprehensive list of the local attractions and the Places section to get a view of the beauty of this area and other places worth visiting on your stay. We have also provided a page about the local Events that attract people back to the area every year, including Matlock Bath's Illuminations and Venetian nights.

If you want a few relaxing days then this has to be the place for you. Alternatively if you are travelling long distances then make this an overnight stop. Whichever way, you'll be back!

Wireless Internet Hotspot

Heathbank Bed & Breakfast is quite possibly the world's first WiFi Hotspot in a B&B, offering wireless internet connectivity since early 2003. Business travellers or anyone who owns a wireless enabled laptop or PDA (Handheld device) can come and stay here with us and use our wireless Internet connection. There is no extra charge for using the Hotspot as it is inclusive within the price of accommodation.

As a guest you can rest comfortably and access your emails, the Internet, or even your own Network and it is all very quick and easy to get online.
