Matlock Bath is on the A6.

By Train: The only train for Matlock Bath starts from Derby, and passes through the following towns/villages: Duffield, Belper, Ambergate, Whatstandwell and Cromford, before arriving at Matlock Bath. From Matlock Bath station it is about a half mile walk turning right on the road from the station.

From South: From Derby head northwards through the towns mentioned in the train list. Matlock Bath is at the north end of the village approx one and a half miles from Masson Mills, which can be clearly seen to the right upon entering the village. Follow the road through the main part of the village and pass under the cable cars and Heathbank is 300 yards further on the left.

From North: The main roads north of Matlock Bath all lead to Crown Square roundabout in Matlock. Follow the A6 for Derby from Crown Square. Heathbank is approx 1 mile from here. Once you reach the sign for Matlock Bath, Heathbank is a few hundred yards further on the right side of the road.
